PROGRAMMER-ANALYST/CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST, Advanced Medical Data Systems, Inc., Kansas City, Missouri; September 1991 to November 1994.
Performed programming duties that included modifying programs from specifications from clients in AcuCOBOL, debugging programs, writing new programs from specifications provided by client specifications and writing shell script and batch procedures to maintain the above procedures. Worked primarily in the SCO Unix System V environment, but also worked with MS-DOS and MS Windows developing demo programs of AMDS’s Advanced Practice Manager. Provided Client Support on a person to person level as well as performed training on Advanced Practice Manager. Worked with many forms of networking communications including TCP/IP and Novell as well as WorkGroups for Windows and others. Also, completely rewrote the User Manual for Advanced Practice Manager as well as performing all layout and formatting work as was needed for their now 660 page manual.
